Christian PTSD Support

Faith, Community, and Hope for the Journey Through Trauma

PTSD can affect sleep, relationships, emotions, family life, work, faith, and the way you see yourself. ForChristians, trauma can also raise difficult spiritual questions: Where is God? Why did this happen? Why am I still struggling? Does my struggle mean my faith isn't strong?

No. Struggling with PTSD does not mean you are a bad Christian. Asking for help does not mean you've failed.

We believe faith, prayer, community, practical resources, and appropriate professional care can all have a place in a person's journey. Crossing the Bar's role is to provide faith-based support, encouragement, education, prayer, and community - not to replace licensed medical or mental-health care.

You are not alone!
